![]() ![]() That said, I especially don’t hate the commands on their own. As far as I know there is no way to map things out of them buttons (you couldn’t change it to CTRL and E) but you could definitely do the hold button, say, F. Shift and left mouse button is a special attack. It’s Shift to run, but you also press Shift to switch between melee weapon and pistol. It’s not perfect, but I definitely prefer it.īy default, most keyboard controls are mapped the same way they are mapped to the gamepad, with all sorts of capabilities related to the Shift key. First of all, after playing about an hour with keyboard / mouse and 30 minutes with gamepad… Actually, I prefer keyboard / mouse. This brings us perfectly to the controls: There is also no “official” way to switch to an undub / Japanese audio version, although I have heard a few rumors that people are trying to figure out how to do exactly that. In audio terms, the whole thing is dubbed in English and a good deal of the dubbing is horrible. I’m also basically able to get everything running at 1920 × 1080 resolution with 60 fps when everything is at full blast, although that’s probably not too much of a surprise on an i7-3820 / 16GB RAM / GeForce GTX 970. I will mention it quickly God eater 2 suffer of horrible tearing issues, but enabling V-Sync solved them perfectly without causing any frame rate or stuttering issues. I much prefer the aim of the mouse to the aim of the gamepad. I don’t know if it will be okay upper above 60Hz, but the ability to change the refresh rate is there. I can’t talk about the refresh rate options as it seems to be locked on my monitor so I can’t change it at all, but the fact that it’s there means you’ll be able to choose other things. And – yes – the resolution goes up to 3840 × 2160. Full screen allows you to activate, deactivate or windowed. Texture filtering ranges from Trilinear to Anisotropic x16. Not a huge amount of tweaks, but most of them are pretty darn good. These are all options except for two audio options (Volume: Environment and Radio Voice Effects). Next, Audio / Video, because “Controls” is something I’m going to want to talk about in depth. ![]() What’s worth noting is that this is where the sensitivity of the camera is located, as well as the options to reset the vertical orientation of the camera when doing things, etc. Yeah, that’s a lot, and most of them are going to make sense until you’ve been playing the game for awhile. Here are three screens of all the options: We will not go through them in that order. These are divided into three menus: Gameplay, Controls and Audio / Video. ![]()
